Most parents fail to use car seats properly  Ninety-five percent of families surveyed made at least one serious error, while 91% made a life-threatening error and only 15% worked with a certified car safety technician when they used a car seat after being discharged from the hospital with a healthy newborn, according to a study in the Journal of Pediatrics.
