Reuters (5/20, Harding) reports researchers found that most “homemade sunscreens on Pinterest” do not protect “from sunburn or skin cancer.” The findings were published in Health Communication. The Academy “recommends using a water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 that is broad spectrum, meaning it protects against both UVA and UVB.”
